As the game progresses you'll find it becomes more powerful and there are more Implants you can use for Directional Blocking.

The Implants play a major role in this Build. Implants that kill the Boss, Deflectomatic Boss These Sets may not be flashy but will do the job. You’ll need to use Liquidator early on though, since you won’t get either of these other two until about half way through the game. You can also use the SCARAB SetAlthough this is Sentinel Class Armor it has very strong defensive bonuses. But the Nano Explosion remains completely ineffective. The Nano Ward SetThis is a great option as it decreases the cost to Blocking. The Armor itself is on the light side as it’s Operator Class, which isn’t ideal, so if you find you aren’t having trouble with Elemental affects, then I recommend going with a Goliath Class Armor. This is why I prefer the Liquidator SetThis helps to protect you from these status afflictions and also reduces damage caused by Nano Affliction. Many of the game’s bosses deal Elemental Damage in one form or another, with Nano Affliction being the primary Elemental Status you need to worry about. For this reason, I recommend them for Bosses, but you don’t have to use them. StaminaFor a single attack you can hit Bosses in between each other and have Stamina for Block.

This is why I recommend learning how to use one type of weapon and using it against Bosses.įaster weapons like Twin-RiggedAnd Punching Gloves seem to be more responsive when it comes to Directional Blocking, meaning they will Block faster when pressing the button, which can make things easier if you’re getting hit by a barrage of attacks. But, there is an important difference in directional blocking between faster attacking weapons and slower ones. The Weapon you wish to use isn’t overly important for this Build, so you have total freedom to use whatever you like, and you can experiment with different types of Weapons. Waffen to Kill Boss Weapons with Deflectomatic Boss You will be able to keep alive even while you learn about the timings and tactics of Boss attacks. Stomping Bosses leaves you with a wide opening to attack. The reason this Build is so effective against Bosses lies in the fact that Bosses are more difficult to defend than Block. Although this is an advanced build, once you are able to use it properly, it's quite powerful. Then, you can get huge buffs that will make it difficult to beat them. Directional Block an enemy attack and stagger them. However, it is equally effective against any enemy in The Surge 2.
